IxChel Peace Nubia B I O

Art has always fascinated IxChel .. growing up as a little girl she spent most of her time outdoors absorbing the natural elements, through camping & fishing. Her keen sense to artistic value developed as she watched and also participated in watching her father create houses from the ground up. He taught her the basic fundamentals of drawings and the reality of building was overdrawn into a large scale in the functions of a foundation that would stencil her life into a colorful creative beginning. She dibbled in the arts of Djing and was a DJ/VJ for Boogie Down Sounds in New Mexico throughout her adolecent years.  She began to adopt Emceeing as a creative endeavor where she found her passion as a profound lover of hip hop music. This doorway opened up her soul and higher awareness as she also began to expand in poetry.

After creating four beautiful babies, a few times she painted to distress her new life. Over the years she said she wanted to paint, she mentioned "why dont I just start NOW".  She began to settle in her essence and decided to pick up a brush in 2010. Not knowing how to paint she practiced on small canvas and started keeping record of the years to develop her skills in fine arts. As the energy of life unfolded before her eyes and the rest of the world, this creative channel she emerged into a street/cultural/graffiti style that developed her talent as all around Artist.

In 2011 IxChel met Sergio Browser aka DJ Big Serg who helped her get her artistic ability in the public online forum. You can catch a glimpse of her artwork at www.realradiophx.com along with the entire crew Dj Ehouse, Dj TooFine, & Dj Cas. Together they have a monthly live event where she continues to show her painting in a live form.  IxChel has sold nearly over half of her artwork within the first 2 years of her painting. This is definitely a universal gift from a higher realm in which IxChel finely tunes in and taps into an organic realm of different colorful dimensions that the average viewer may have missed on a day to day basis.

This breathtaking artist uses textiles and mediums such as: acrylic, spray paint, and paint pens. She has a diverse style of canvas from cloth to wood to blinds to just about anything that catches her eyes. Her creative mobility into unspoken realms causes this Artist to capture a moment in time and bring it forth into how we see life now a days.  As therapeutic as this may seam. "Even the healer needs to be healed" as she directly quotes this practice in her daily life.  IxChel says that her passion has always been to be inspired by the movement.

ONE LOVE
